Now, some of these exciting new venues are giving diners a chance to try out their menus for a reduced price as a part of Eat Out Edinburgh, the popular restaurant festival returning for its third year to take over Edinburgh’s city centre the entire month of March. Offering anything from set menus to exclusive events throughout the area spanning Princes Street to George Street, Charlotte Square to St. James Quarter, diners can book now to be among the first to try out the newest hotspots in the city centre.

The latest entrant to the city taking part in the festival is Willow Tea Rooms. Known for their famous afternoon tea in a space designed by famed Glasgow architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the brand has brough their delightful tea menu to Edinburgh this month, opening in the former Starbucks unit with stunning castle views on Princes Street. Throughout March, they will be offering their afternoon tea for £17.95 per person as a part of the festival.

For a meal more suited to carnivores, RIO Brazilian Steakhouse has also recently taken residence in the city, offering a unique Rodizio-style service with an extensive menu of premium meats served tableside in unlimited qualities, with a vast salad and sushi bar filled with fresh meats, cheeses, and Brazilian bites. Guests can visit the beautiful new Assembly Rooms venue throughout March for a set price of £34.95 for dinner and £19.95 for lunch.

This year, Mother’s Day falls within the Eat Out Edinburgh festival – making it easy to treat the mums in your life to a day out that they deserve. Haute Dolci is offering a set menu in their elegant dining room for a coffee, brunch and dessert pairing as sweet as she is for just £19 a person.

If mum prefers some bubbles with her meal, the swanky surroundings of The Register Club are a lux way to celebrate, with an afternoon tea of sweet treats, warm scones, and savoury bites plus a glass of champagne offered at £64 for two.

There is an offer for everyone next month as Eat Out Edinburgh brings friends, family, and colleagues together to try new restaurants and upscale meals for an accessible price while supporting the ever-expanding hospitality of the city.
