Ten Hearts players left Riccarton to represent their countries last week and many enjoyed a productive time at international level. Scotland, Australia, Jamaica, Costa Rica and Uganda all called up players from Tynecastle for their matches.
There were perhaps unexpected goals for two defenders, plus minutes for forwards and varying degrees of activity for other Hearts players. Full details of the maroon international round-up is below:
5. Aidan Denholm: Scotland U21
Unused substitute in the European Under-21 Championship qualifying win against Kazakhstan.
6. Toby Sibbick: Uganda
Made his international debut for his mother's country. Substitute in the 4-0 friendly defeat by Comoros and played from the start in Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Ghana.
7. Kenneth Vargas: Costa Rica
Late substitute in Saturday's CONCACAF Nations League win over Honduras. Was then left on the bench in the friendly against Argentina.
8. Kye Rowles: Australia
The centre-back played 90 minutes in both World Cup qualifying wins against Lebanon and scored his maiden international goal in the first match.
